Suspension > Strut Tower Brace

During hard cornering, lateral forces are transferred from the wheels to the strut towers, causing the outboard strut tower to deflect outwards as much as 1/8 degree. Handling upgrades such as springs, shocks, tires and sway bars will only lead to increased loads and higher deflections. These cyclic loads, as the strut tower deflects back and forth and back again, can even lead to failure of chassis spot welds under extreme racing conditions. A strut tower brace provides support to the strut towers by securing both towers together and limiting relative motion.

By stiffening the chassis in this way, the strut brace sharpens the feel and response of the front suspension, thereby enhancing the driver's experience & lowering lap times. The Dynatech Billet Aluminum Strut Brace is not just adjustable, but also pre-loadable, with a maximum capacity exceeding 3000 lbs. The Dynatech strut brace is normally installed with 1000 lbs. of tension, ensuring that the bar and chassis are rigidly loaded long before you hit that first corner. The Dynatech strut brace is manufactured from 100% CNC-machined billet aluminum, with first class fit and finish. Standard with red & black anodized hardware; bar & mounting brackets available in polished or satin aluminum.  You won’t find a stronger, better looking strut brace for your Porsche.
